God recalled two of his most wonderful creations, my grandpa and Stinky. Maybe they'd meet in Heaven, and perhaps he'd slide his loosely gripped fist along the length of Stinky's tail, and kneel painlessly to scratch Stinky's belly, just like I always did. Both of them, now unfettered by pain and suffering.
