O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
As a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear-
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!

St Nicks' Sports Day isn't very much like it used to be; there's this loss of hype and excitement in the air. No one seems to know each other anymore, there isn't that invisible linkage that trancedes and unites the 'St Nicks Spirit' that resides deep within each. Perhaps it's just a feeling of detachment, and I've gotten over the St Nicks - CJ transition. Meeting up with those I had missed was rewarding though. So was orange bowl.

Dinner with Dippy subsequently was good; fish&chips, satay, roti john, rojak [solely dough fritters actually] and sugarcane juice, then exploration at the concrete jungle.

Haan had a little exchange with JJ earlier today, and I wonder if Dippy does that too.
JJ: We know so many Sams - this Sam [who was sitting with us], your Sam [Haan's girlfriend] and the pretty Sam [my current classmate whom JJ thinks is cute].
Haan: Pretty Sam's my Sam.
