Seems that I'm left with ODAC as my only choice for CCA.
I attended the Council's so-called meeting today, expecting to be briefed on an intern orientation or something along those lines. That meeting resulted in me sneaking out [pretty obviously] with three other friends because we decided that it was plain dumb to be coming up with cheers for some swelting upcoming meet at Turf City.
ODAC should be manageable. I'm just dreading the crazy runs they do, like RUNNING from CJ to Kallang to support the rugby team. For those in the unknown, CJ's at Whitley Road, a ten minute bus ride away from town. But hey, sacrificing two mornings a week [I'd never go for non-official morning runs that take place three times a week] and two afternoons / evenings a week [let's overlook the fact that I have Art till 5.30pm on Friday, which means I'd be missing half of Friday's ODAC training] sounds good in exchange for a cheetah's stamina and toned body that will probably get flabby the moment I leave JC. Maybe I'd skip ODAC on days when Bloody Mary decides to come a-knocking.
School hours are long, and that's disturbing. Projects and readings are piling up but I'm having too much fun to be chuffed.
